The haphazard world exposes several challenges to your vulnerable children. Such situations deliver stress, anxiety, and ample distractions to their tender minds.
We live in an era when children cling on to electronic gadgets. Their best friend is the mobile phone. They avoid physical outdoor games. They are content in their comfort zone and enjoy the enclosed environment surrounding them with video games or television.
It poses a monumental challenge for parents who want their kids to concentrate on their studies and keep these obstructive elements at bay. So, what is the solution?
How To Boost a Child’s Brain Power?
It is no hidden secret that regular exercise and physical activities lead to the generation of new brain cells. Dr. Satbir Khalsa of Harvard, U.S.A. quotes – “This is evidence that you can move beyond molding and shaping your mind: You can literally create a new brain. It is beyond neuroplasticity. It’s neurogenesis.”
Students are the essence of teaching. Thus, it is obligatory for a teacher to draw out the students’ innate potential. There is no greater happiness for any teacher (including me, of course) to see their students grow in all spheres of life.
How Can Yoga Boost a Child’s Brain Power?
The thought provoked me to dig deeper into the yogic technique to search for a solution for those students who needed more than serious counseling to improve their concentration in studies.
I learned that Yoga, an ancient Indian practice, has shown remarkable improvements in the current crop of depressed and anxious students.
Yoga: An Auxiliary Learning Tool
About 5,000 years ago in India, evidence of Yoga was present in the oldest of the Rig Vedas. It was initially associated with the divinity of ancient Indian sages.
After ample research, I introduced Yoga as an auxiliary learning tool to intervene in my regular classes to improve my student’s cognitive development and enhance their concentration ability.
Super Brain Yoga
The practice is called SUPER BRAIN YOGA. Following the step-by-step method mentioned below over a period can reap fruits.
STEP 1: Place the thumb on the outer ear lobe and the index finger behind.
STEP 2: Left-arm Inside and right arm outside
STEP 3: Begin Squatting. Breathe in as you descend. Breathe out as you rise.
STEP 4: Practice this every day for at least 14 rounds. You can continue to increase the count at your comfort for as long as 15 minutes.
Results of Super Brain Yoga
I am thrilled to share the positive result of practicing the asana for three months. The profound practice alleviates the mood, calms the nervous system, sustains long-term peace of mind, and more. It brings about emotional stability, promotes body-mind awareness, and improves listening skills and concentration span.
Bottom Line
Science validates that the Super Brain Yoga contributes to sharpening brain power and improves IQ level and memory. It increases the production of neurochemicals, which promotes brain cells and significantly grows new nerve cells, thereby boosting brain power.
